Electrode (ion) heating boiler is a modern and efficient source of heat for homes, apartments, villas and other objects to heat.
Electric heating benefits: cost-effectiveness, ecology (no chimney), takes up little space and aesthetics - electrode (ion) boilers can be connected to any central or individual story heating system and, if necessary - to a mixed or an accumulator system. It can be installed in conjunction with the existing heating system, for example with a solid fuel boiler.
In order for the electrode boiler to function well, it must have a pump that provides necessary circulation. The electrode boilers are produced in 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 kW outputs.
For heating larger rooms two or more boilers can be connected. To connect the electrode boiler to the power supply, you need the consent of the local energy company that the consumer must receive before a purchase of an electrode boiler.


Technical description of the electrode boiler
The electrode boiler consists of a frame, power switching equipment, circulation pump, filter, and safety and control devices. The components are mounted on the frame in the cabinet.
The boiler body is made of heat-resistant plastic and reliably isolated. The boiler body is fitted with 1-3 electrode heating elements (according to the boiler output).
The cabinet is made of sheet metal and is specially painted. The wardrobe has a protective cover, which is removed by unscrewing four screws. Inside, the control and signaling elements are installed.
Boiler fuse is on the right side of the cabinet. A pump ensures a perfect boiler and the entire system of water circulation. The water temperature is measured by a thermometer and the pressure is measured by a manometer.

Functionality of an electrode boiler
The electrode boiler operations are automatically adjusted by the boiler thermostat, or a programmer-controller, depending on the heated room temperature. When you switch on the room thermostat, the pump and the heating elements in the boiler casing start working. After reaching the required temperature in the room, the room thermostat switches off the pump and the heating elements.
In case of failure of the boiler thermostat, the system is stopped by a thermo-switch, and it can be activated only after removal of the fault by manually turning on the thermo-switch. For the control of accumulative heating, an external sensor, remote control (HDP) or a mixing valve can be used.
